How it works

Android passes your traffic to a tunnel on your phone. It reaches VaxoProxy, our own engine written in Java, which splits the TLS handshake and TCP segments so deep packet inspection cannot recognize the connection. Traffic then goes straight to the site.

Install

  1. Tap Download and open the APK.
  2. Allow installation from this source.
  3. If Play Protect warns you, tap More details, then Install anyway. The app is signed but not on the Play Store.
  4. Open VaxoDPI and tap Connect.

Questions

Is it a VPN?

It uses Android's VPN permission, but no remote server is involved. It does not change your IP or country.

Does it slow my internet?

Barely. Sites that are not blocked are passed through untouched.

Does it collect data?

No. An optional local log is off by default and never records sites or IP addresses. See the privacy policy.

A site still does not open.

Open Modes, pick another strategy, then reconnect. You can also change DNS in Settings.

Is it legal?

Laws differ by country. You are responsible for following yours.
